Shipping Policy

De Paola Vineyard uses the best method shipping platform to utilize the most economical, efficient and quality conscious shipment of wine to our customer. We ship within 24 hours M-F for most orders and will delay shipments to avoid temperature extremes. If your order needs to arrive by a particular date, such as for a gift or prior to travel, please contact us directly at sales@depaolavineyard.com. 


We strongly recommend delivery of wine shipments to a business, rather then a home address. Shipment of wine requires an adult signature. If an adult (21 years or older with proper identification of age) is not available to receive this package, additional attempts to deliver will be made. If these attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the distribution center it originated from, resulting in additional shipping costs. 


De Paola Vineyard sells and ships wine only to persons 21 years of age or older. By placing this order with De Paola Vineyard you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient of this shipment are at least 21 years old. We ship to most of the United States, however due to state regulations, we are unable to ship to Utah. *Cost of shipping prohibits De Paola vineyard from offering any shipping discounts to Hawaii and Alaska, and limit shipments to a maximum of one case per order. Multiple cases can be purchased, but must be done in separate orders.


We know you will love our wine. However, if for some reaseon you need to return/exchange your purchase, we are happy to help.

At De Paola Vineyard, we take pride in the quality and taste of our wine. If a bottle of wine is defective, we are happy to exchange it for the same item at no charge. For your convenience we are happy perform most exchanges without returning the defective bottle. In some cases, we may request the defective bottle to be returned before for examination before performing the exchange.  Send us an email at returns@depaolavineyard.com to initiate a return.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the wine you have purchased within 14 days of reciept, a full refund will be issued for unopened bottles.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. A refund will only be issued for products purchased from DePaola Vineyard.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. Any bottle not in its original condition, is damaged for reasons not due to our error or is returned more than 14 days after delivery may not be eligible for a refund.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at returns@depaolavineyard.com.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

All wine is sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation as to the legal right of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of California. By placing an order with us, you authorize us to release your wine to a third party carrier who will deliver your order to you.
